Background
A government organisation regularly releases important public information on its website and other platforms. To ensure accuracy, a dedicated department of analysts reviews drafts submitted by requesters to clear them for publication.
The Problem
The current review process is manual and time-consuming, with a steep learning curve for new analysts who are lacking in domain knowledge.
The Solution
I designed TrueCast, an application that streamlines the review process by automatically detecting inaccuracies, enhancing collaboration among analysts and improving knowledge management.
Impact
(1) Activation: 78% of users uploaded at least one document, with an average of 64 documents uploaded per user.
(2) Efficiency: 23% increase in documents cleared per hour and 18% decrease in enquiry-related emails.
(3) Satisfaction: High Net Promoter Score (NPS) score of 33% and System Usability Score (SUS) of 75%.
→ TrueCast saves an estimated 4,680 man-hours per year, equivalent to 2.25 full-time personnel.
